Marriage Requirements

Congratulation on your Engagement! God has called you to live happily in a beautiful sacrament.

St. Thomas Aquinas has requirements for marriage in our Church.

• Meeting with the Priest

Couples are needed to make an appointment with the parish priest immediately.

• Scheduling your wedding day
• After getting the approval of the Priest you may schedule your wedding date.
• There is a $400 fee for reserving the chapel, this fee does not include fees for the choir.
• St. Thomas Aquinas weddings are only celebrated on Saturdays at 11:00am and 1:00pm.

• Pre-Nuptial Preparation

Marriage preparation at St. Thomas Aquinas' is in accordance with canon law and diocesan policy. This includes:

• The completion of church documentation and canonical forms
• Attendance at Marriage Class and  Natural Family planning classes
• Parish mentoring
• The planning of the ceremony

Documents Required by Our Parish

These following documents are needed to be recorded in our archives.

These include:

• Copies of of both birth certificates
• Baptismal Certificates (Cannot be older than 6 months)
• Copies of both First Communion Certificates
• Copies of both Confirmation Certificates
• A Civil Marriage License
• Affidavit Form

• Marriage/Natural Family Planning Classes
